As I typed, I bought myself a camera. So now I can take more pictures. Before, I was borrowing Casey's camera when I could. Right now, the Northeast is covered under a thick blanket of ultra-irritating snow and it is a chilly 46 degrees in Florida. It is 41 here and rainy. I am going to spend the rest of my day figuring out how to grow plants in this sun-less apartment and hoping the snow melts.
The photos above are from the last few days. The unusually warm February is causing flowers to bloom. People are worried because that means they are going to die when it gets cold again.
The University District Farmer's Market is pretty great. We get milk there every week and make yogurt with it. Ummmmmm.
When you buy a new camera with a sweet macro function, what do you do? Scotch fueled photo shoot of course!
I don't really have anything to say about this.
I found a recipe for Chocolate Truffles that called for Grand Marnier and heavy cream. I found some local heavy cream at Whole Foods and used Peppermint Schnaps instead. They're gone. I guess they were ok.
